GUSTAVO APITI COUTURE
Gustavo Apiti Couture is a talented tailor and designer who creates a variety of custom craft pieces ranging from evening gowns to tailored suits. Born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gustave discovered his love for the fashion industry at the young age of six, where he styled and created clothes for his sister’s dolls. Gustave graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel & Design from the Tshwane University of Technology. After graduating, he worked with some of the top fashion houses from South Africa including JJ Schoeman Boutique & Strangelove. After establishing himself in Johannesburg, he traveled to the states and began working for Luly Yang.

IVAN DELFIN
Ivan Delfin started his interest in fashion while in high school in Tijuana, Mexico. Later he made the decision to study fashion in college, finding there a passion to design. He has participated in many fashion events, in his home city of Tijuana. His love of fashion, knowledge, and experiences give him the energy that he dedicates to each piece that he makes. After college, he worked under Mexican fashion designer Benito Santos, who helped shape him to be the designer he is now.

Based in Seattle, WA, I received my Fashion Design degree from Seattle Central College. I am an award-winning fashion designer who is passionate about creating elegant, beautiful gowns inspired by classic movies and glamorous editorials. As a young girl from a small town in Washington State, I could only imagine the dramatic excitement of wearing such beautiful gowns. Being a fashion designer is my purpose in life. I love every aspect of it, from designing to completing each piece. The most gratifying moment is when a woman puts on the gown, and as if by magic, the gown comes to life with her touch. My collections have been featured in numerous fashion shows in Seattle, Bellevue, and Hollywood.

SANTIAGO ALEJANDRO
Mexico-born dynamic duo Santiago and Alejandro have been designing together for 17 years. Both men grew up watching their mothers and aunts sew dresses, and later, Santiago attended fashion school. In contrast, Alejandro entered the industry only with the knowledge he gained from his mother’s dressmaking. Each garment Santiago and Alejandro create is custom, handmade, and reminiscent of old-school high fashion, inspired by the works of Oscar de la Renta and John Galliano. Gowns for weddings, quinceañeras, and pageants are Santiago and Alejandro’s area of expertise, and they love to work with notoriously tricky materials, like chiffon, feathers, and stones. Santiago and Alejandro undoubtedly enjoy a challenge, and they’re not afraid to bring their ideas to life without sketching them first.

Born in Vietnam, Vien started sewing at the age of 12 and discovered a passion for creating her own designs. After moving to Oregon, she attended the Art Institute of Portland where she received her degree in fashion. She uses her lifetime of experience to create fashion-forward couture bridal gowns, as well as custom suits and accessories. Vien's stunning designs resonate with clients, which has won her Oregon Bride Magazine's Best of 2020 - Best Dress Designer Outside of Portland.

NAMIKO ABLOOM
Namiko was born in Aomori, Japan. She studied fashion design and worked as a lace designer for many years in Tokyo. After moving to Seattle in 2001, she began pursuing her passion for jewelry design. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and it’s strong resemblance to Japan, Namiko found her art’s expression through intricate, handmade jewelry pieces. She continues to explore new avenues of expression in bridal and casual wear through her couture jewelry, headpieces, and accessories.
